For a creamy garlic butter sauce that’s great over pasta, just add a little heavy whipping cream to the butter sauce mixture.

Or add a little heat by tossing in some red pepper flakes to the sauce. Easy peasy!

How To Cook Garlic Butter Shrimp

Cooking on the stovetop is the quickest and easiest way to enjoy this recipe! Be sure to prepare all of your ingredients before you start cooking as this recipe comes together FAST!

I spend less than 10 minutes zesting/juicing the lemon, measuring the ingredients and it only takes about 5 minutes to cook!

Season shrimp (per recipe below) and measure out ingredients (butter etc).
Heat oil in a skillet and cook shrimp for 1 minute.
Flip over, add garlic butter mixture and cook 3-4 minutes more or until shrimp are cooked through.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Garlic butter shrimp can be baked in the oven at 350°F for 20 minutes or grilled over a medium flame on skewers or in a slotted pan.

Ingredients1 tablespoon olive oil1 1/2 pounds large shrimp peeled and deveined1 teaspoon lemon zestsalt & pepper to taste3 tablespoons butter softened2 cloves garlic1 tablespoon lemon juice2 tablespoons fresh parsleylemon wedges for serving
InstructionsToss shrimp with lemon zest and salt & pepper to taste. In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add shrimp and cook 1 minute. Flip over, add butter and cook 2-3 minutes more or just until cooked through. Remove pan from heat and sprinkle with parsley. Serve with lemon wedges.
